DonateASpace is a project created by The Creation Experiment where our aim is to make spaces available to those who need them for any reason, whether that be rest, relaxation, respite or retreat.
Our team of Founder Members intends to manifest spaces where friends, colleagues, carers, clients – anyone – can go when in need of a breather.
And we’d love to match them up with any spare space you might have for however short a period from a weekend to a week, or a month or much longer.
It may be that you have more space than you need, or a holiday home, or a timeshare you don’t use each year or a weekend cottage. A city pad or a hotel room? A B & B which isn’t full. A granny flat which is empty right now or just a spare bedroom.
It may be that you want your house sitting, or you have an empty nest?
It may be that our friends in need of a space might pay their way by means of an exchange of some sort, like pet-sitting, or garden tending, or even re-decorating or just by keeping the place lived-in and valued.
Or it may be that you can simply afford to gift your space to someone in need.
Either way, we hope you will offer to donate your space for a worthy cause.
Coming Soon – the facility to upload your space with photos, dimensions, postcode etc. and let us know what you have available and when and anything you need our people to do whilst staying at your house.
We will check out the applicants and hand-match them to your spaces and manage the process so that you need have no fear in your abundance.
For now, please think about who you know who has a space they might donate to someone in need of sanctuary, respite or just good old peace and quiet, perhaps even a writer in retreat.
